What You'll Need
Fingering or Sock Weight Yarn (I used "Palette" off-white by KnitPicks--they have a zillion colors, and it's the perfect scale for a Blythe sweater!)
Size US 2 needles
Blunt needle for weaving in ends
20 stitches in garter stitch (knit stitch) = 2.75 inches
You'll be knitting a small rectangle that should measure approximately (before sewing up) 6 inches long by 1.75 inches wide.
- Cast on 15 stitches.
- Knit every row until piece measures 6 inches.
- Bind off, cut yarn, and weave in ends.
- Refer to sewing diagram below. Fold the piece in half so you get a narrow tube. As measured from each end, sew up for two inches to make the sleeves.
