Quaker Pocket

Here is how I finished the Quaker cross-stitched motif of a few posts ago...I made a wee pocket for posies or other goodies. I backed the pocket with some tea-stained muslin I dyed myself. The pocket can be hung on a doorknob or peg, or anywhere a little joy is needed. The motif is from an Ackworth School collection of sampler motifs available at Needleprint.com. This is a wonderful site if you are a vintage cross-stitch enthusiast like myself!

This pocket is now in the home of my BFF, Michelle, whose birthday is today. Happy Birthday and enjoy your day, my friend!
