October begins

I love autumn. I love the changing colors, the crispy leaves, the cooler air, the feeling that everything (at least nature-wise, because work is as rat-racey as ever) is winding down for a good sleep. Still, green remains and the geese are thinking of flying away as they congregate everywhere I look.

I've begun bringing out a few pumpkins.

And I've made progress on a small autumn cross stitch sampler. It gives me a chance to bring out all my lovely variegated orange flosses.

And mums from the greenhouse are now being carried by faithful Sancho, my ceramic donkey.

Welcome, Autumn!
